Neglinge, opened on 23 July 1893, is Saltsjöbanan's primary station, and the yard and shops are located here. During 1937-1938, CTL, a system for centralized remote traffic control, was installed on Saltsjöbanan and the control function was placed here. On the night of 29 February 1980, an arsonist set fire to the station building, and the fire destroyed the building completely. Since the control center was located in the station building, this caused substantial problems for the train service. The current building was completed in 1981.
