Skogås, like Trångsund, is a small suburb south of Stockholm, on the
line to Västerhaninge and Nynäshamn.
Before 1996, when most of the line between Älvsjö and Västerhaninge was
single-track, commuter trains passed each other regularly twice each hour
at Skogås (more often in rush hours). Now that the line is double-track, Skogås
is no longer important in that regard.

This picture is a long view of the station at Skogås, from the road beside it.
A southbound train is stopped at the station. At the far end of the platform is the
station building, which before 1996 was the only point of access to the platform.
Behind us in this view is the new, unstaffed entrance opened in 1996.
