The station was opened in 1901, and was then known as Österhaninge. In
January of 1913, its name was changed to Handen, which is still the official
name of the nearby built-up area. In 1989, the name was changed to
Haninge centrum.
I know Haninge centrum well; it's where I lived and worked when I first moved
to Stockholm in 1994. These pictures don't actually show the station, though;
they were taken a short distance north of the station in order to capture trains
in motion.
