Blackeberg (Tub1, line 19)

Opened on 26 October 1952.

Blackeberg is noted for its striking ticket hall, designed by Peter Celsing, who is also noted for the Stockolm Cultural Centre (Kulturhuset) at Sergels torg in the center of Stockholm.

Blackeberg, ticket hall, looking south

(23 September 2002)
A view of the ticket hall at Blackeberg. This view looks timetable south, toward Islandstorget station and Blackebergs torg, the square outside this station. The lower window, which is dark, actually looks out onto the south part of the station. There's a picture of this window farther down the page that was taken from the station platform.
